The characteristics and use of the Foot Valve

1. The foot valve, also known as the check valve, is a low pressure flat valve that acts to ensure that the liquid flows in one direction in the suction line.
2. Mainly used in pumps and other mechanical equipment for processing slurry, usually installed at the bottom end of the pump underwater suction pipe to prevent slurry backflow.
3. The product has multiple inlets and is equipped with a screen to reduce the inflow of debris and reduce the chance of blockage.
4. Although the foot valve is equipped with an anti-blocking screen, the bottom valve is generally suitable for cleaning media, and the medium with excessive viscosity and granularity should not be used.
5. The foot valve is generally installed at the bottom end of the water pump suction pipe, which restricts the backflow of the liquid in the water pump pipe and functions as an inaccessible.
