Product principle

The plastic butterfly valve is a valve that uses a circular disc as a starting and closing member and rotates with the valve stem to open, close and adjust the fluid passage. The butterfly valve’s disc is mounted in the diameter direction of the pipe.

Features:

1. The plastic butterfly valve is simple in structure and consists of only a few parts. It is small in size, light in weight and small in installation size.
2. The driving torque is small, the operation is simple and rapid, and it can be quickly turned on and off by only rotating 90°.
3. With good fluid control characteristics and closed sealing performance, the butterfly valve is the dominant valve form in the field of large and medium diameter, medium and low pressure.
4. The streamlined design of the disc makes the fluid resistance loss small, which is an energy-saving product.
5. The valve stem is a through-rod structure. After quenching and tempering treatment, it has good comprehensive mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and scratch resistance.
6. When the butterfly valve is opened and closed, the valve stem only rotates and does not move up and down. The packing of the valve stem is not easy to be broken and the sealing is reliable.

Butterfly valve installation：

1. The clip-on handle butterfly valve connection is generally flanged, and the butterfly valve is directly connected to the flange on the pipe.

2. Plastic butterfly valves use the relationship between pressure and temperature. As the operating temperature increases, the service life of plastic valves is shortened. To maintain the same service life, you need to reduce the pressure of use.
